The Vehicle Service Contract pays for repairs on covered items, so you don’t have to.

GAP - Guaranteed Asset Protection

GAP - Guaranteed Asset Protection

Accidents happen and some result in a total loss to your vehicle. Two examples of a total loss are a collision or a stolen vehicle. GAP helps cover the “GAP” between what your insurance company says your vehicle is worth and the balance that is owed on your loan. Losing a vehicle is difficult enough and you do not want to pay this difference out of pocket.

Below is an example of how GAP coverage could work for you:

You finance $30,000 for a vehicle. You have been making your payments for months and the loan is paid down to $26,000. You get into an accident and your insurance company considers your vehicle a total loss. Your insurance company is willing to give you $20,250 for your vehicle but you still owe the bank $26,000. Without GAP, you will owe an additional $5,750 to the bank for the difference or the “GAP”. With GAP coverage, you would get reimbursed for $5,750 and would not have to come out of pocket for any difference.

Nitrogen is a larger molecule than oxygen, so it is more difficult for Nitrogen to escape from your tires. This is especially important in the winter months when the temperatures drop. Lower temperatures cause the air in your tires to contract and your tire pressure drops. Having Nitrogen in your tires helps them remain at factory recommended tire pressures which reduces the chances of have a roadside flat caused by road hazard.
Yes. It is important to keep your tires at recommended pressures even if you do not have access to Nitrogen. You can add air to your tires until you get your tire repaired. After it is repaired, it is important to refill the tire with Nitrogen to maintain the Nitrogen Tire Coverage.
